Well, it never rains but it pours! Another Histories boy, Lex Shrapnel will be appearing in Leeds in the West Yorkshire Playhouse production of the Arthur Miller classic, “Death of a Salesman”. It runs from 1-29 May in the Quarry Theatre. Further details can be found at http://www.wyp.org.uk/

With this season in mind,interesting to recall that in 1968,Lex’s father John appeared at the RST as Lear’s gentleman.He subsequrently played Kent in Johnathan Miller’s production in the BBC Shakespeare series
And just noticed that Julius D’Silva and Keith Dunphy will be in Macbeth at the Globe from April 23. But directed by Lucy Bailey who did Julius Caesar at the Courtyard last year, not my fave production to say least …
Yes, I saw that too and I submitted a blog item on 16/3 that is yet to be posted!
On the upside, Lucy Bailey’s productions at the Globe have been very good so, fingers crossed.
